The Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD) has a great program called Major Opportunities that helps minorities get the training and positioning they need to have successful careers in the construction industry. The Major Opps program needed stronger promotion and awareness.
Once again, the kind folks at Digital Population asked Exit 31 to help them create two strong 2-minute motion graphics animations that would highlight some key statistics and give a fresh spin on the program.
With a crazy short time-line and the bulk of the artwork and storyboards already created by Digital Population, we were in the unique creative position of taking those stills and their vision and giving them some real character. We used some creative influences of several modern commercials and focused on strong transitions and subtle motions to add visual interest. Our creative director, Tyler Hill, even put on his other hat as a voice-over artist and did the audio work for this piece.
